WIDENING My Route of EXPERIENCE

Sitting relaxed in front of the fan, had me open my blog to share this different experience I am having. 16th Feb, 2021 I had my first flight from Paro (Bhutan) to Thailand. It was a goosebump trip for me but enjoyed the sky view of the mountains, rivers and other physical features of Earth🌍. It was a dream come true to be on flight in fact. Also what I had seen just in pics and google earth, was in front of me in real, which made me feel excited too. 😊

On landing, 😱 I nearly upset my tummy🤢. It was alike the experience of descending Ferries Wheel🎡. Furthermore, all those formalities in the airport before checking out added to my motion sickness. But I appreciated the humble nature of the staff who helped us to complete all the formalities.

We were then headed to our quarantine hotel from the "Suvarnabhumi Airport" to "So Boutique". There my another first experience was staying alone in a hotel room. Since I like watching a lot of horror movies, my brain spotlighted the glimpse of all those scary creatures😖. So, I kept the TV On the whole night, to feel the warmth of having people around.  Next was the food. I liked it at first but my body didn't accept it and I was sick missing our Bhutanese cuisines. Tough thing was the communication, with the hotel staff asking for medicine and requesting for change in menu to vegetarian and requesting to avoid adding sugar and sause. The taste still feel fresh like a burp after a meal. The problem could have been either I wasn't clear to them or I didn't understand the way they spoke English in their accent. For first few days I was trying to do some workout but sickness lethargized me afterwards too. After reaching hotel, we had done the COVID test(PCR) for 2 times but it wasn't hard especially for me because being in Phuentsholing (known as high risk zone) and serving as a Desuup, I got chance to do the test at least 4 to 5 times. And being in hotel wasn't a boredom too because after a  week, we were given to meet for 1 hour everyday.

Then, on 3rd March, 2021 our Quarantine period got over and we checked out for the University (Rangsit International College). We came via Taxi and the view wasn't like a new place. I felt alike travelling to Siliguri, India. While travelling we realized, we got in the wrong university since we said Rangsit University, and there are many universities in Rangsit. Later, we realized our University has to be called as "Mo Rangsit". On reaching the campus, we were helped by our Bhutanese boys and girls. We went to the Faculty of Education to meet Ajarn Muay, who helped to process and complete the formalities of admission.

Finally, we were sent to our Dormitory respectively and I got my room in the 11th floor. Luckily, there is an elevator. Otherwise, it would have been a very difficult experience to drag my body and climb up to 11th floor. 😆

P.S: Communicating is very difficult and to eat out and order a menu is a long time process except to index the displayed menu. Good luck... If u happen to visit too.

Rest of the experiences to be continued...
