My 2020, Birthday

"My first Birthday as a Desuup".

Remembering my school days,  I realized that I  loved celebrating birthdays. Wondering how?  Nothing grand,  in the evening prior to my birthday,  i would run to shop to  buy chocolates. I would feel very happy when my classmates sang the Birthday song, while I distributed the candies. Reaching my my college days,  I wasn't fond of it and so haven't celebrated until now but this time on 14th October,  it was surprisingly a very great day for me.

I was surrounded by so many unexpected but beautiful people, indeed it was a great privilege to have had celebrated in the presence of Dasho Dzongda,   Dasho SP, Major ST,  Lieut. Tandin and few of my Nyamros. What a coincidence it was. Thanks to Desuup Nyamro Palden for her cake, that i got this privilege. "You made my day wonderful,  dear".  And I would not forget to thank  Desuup Penpa,  "your Pizza was a on-time serving to all my guest of honor".

I thought, my birthday ended well but didnt, it continued.  To my surprise,  Desuup Nyamros of PSA Night Patrolling Team wished me with a cake too.  OMG!  A feeling of closeness,  touched my heart. ♥ Thank you Nyamros,  I wouldn't forget all the love and supports you shower me.

Was this the end???

No, because When i opened my Facebook, it was flooded with wonderful wishes and blessings from all my families and friends near & far.Thank u every one for remembering me making my birthday beautiful.

"My King, My Inspiration "

On 5th Oct, visit of His Majesty to De-Suung Office was a blessing and an opportunity for all of us to be guided to the way forward.  We all were ecstaticized & it was a dream come true privilege to listen to his encouraging valuable wisdom. His appreciation to the Desuups was an honor for us. I personally felt on top of the world to be praised by Our Majesty. How His Majesty described Desuups still lingers in my mind, which has motivated me  to continue to work with perseverance and serve the best way i can. So, I pledge to remain committed and loyal to my king,  my country and my people.  I will serve and perform my duty with enthusiasm and prove to be dedicated inspite any hurdles may come my way.

The orange uniform has powerup my zeal. As always,  inspired me to continue my service till the time I am here, for I know and  that I serve not to please anyone but to serve My King. At the end this will be my highest achievement and a greatest satisfaction.

I have also realized that my service since February till date is nothing compare to what My King is going through working industrously for safety of people and Happiness of the country. I might have felt tired but his words feeds me with energy. During this time when everyone needs to be inside the doors for the safety,  He,  My King is out guarding and seeking every possibilities to shield the country from an unseen enemy.  I strongly believe in Him, and it is due to His effort that Solidarity pictures Bhutan in combating COVID 19. It has also reminded me,  I have pledged,  "I must not rest and i shall not".

Call of Caution

Summer, the monsoon season is very hazardous especially in relation to natural disaster.  The flood,  lanslides,  lightning, and roadblocks losing connectivity are some of the problems. These are life threatening. It is always being urged by many people about the safeties and the importance of staying home more than going out these days.
However, despite repeated urges by different stakeholders, there were kids seen out and that too swimming in the river.
One of our Desuup Nyamro have shot the video from her balcony this afternoon (Upper Kabraytar) . Though the sight was far from her home,   the video clearly shows,  they were kids. This has made us important to keep track of our children. We must ask our children and have correct information before we send them out. It is better to enquire than to be sorry.
For that it has also become important to absorb in our mind on  keeping ourselves reminded about the demands of current situation, in terms of COVID-19 and the disaster related monsoon season. So,  please remain cautious and Stay Safe.

*The above message and  video is purely shared out of concern. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Positive Vibe- Happiness

“It's only after you've stepped outside your comfort zone that you begin to change, grow, and transform.”        -Unknown
Positivity in thoughts brings a lot of change in us and so will it to our surroundings. Indeed, I believe it to be a source of Happiness too. Don't think it as an inborn quality rather a great change u can adapt. Try it! u will never fail. I believe it to be pertinent to our life and should  everyone too.
In line to this,  believe in yourself. Life isn't an easy go. You may come across many hardships and some even would lower ur morality by demeaning you but these are impermanent and will go off soon.  Always enlighten yourself by staying positive. You must not let something grab a chance to affect you.  You aren't always heinous for everything and sometimes your innocence wont be comprehended. Believe that these things are infact guiding and directing you towards Success. After all,  all these hardships gives us an experiences filled with lessons.

"Don’t get discouraged. It is often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock."

"Finally,  don't end judging someone sooner nor instigate others to do the same. So,  COMMUNICATE first.... not with others but the one whom u doubted."   -Pessel

Take care and stay safe.

My First few days in MTC ♥

"Respect the Training.
  Honor the Commitment.
  Cherish the results."
                                     -Anonymous

"This is the beginning of anything I want", for I knew my capacity to endure and fight for a cause.

Saw my piece of writing saved as "My Diary" in my mobile Note and couldn't help, then to post it.  ✌ ☺

My Diary

18/01/2020
Gathered at Changlimithang parking lot to head towards MTC,  Tencholing. Felt the zeal in me to work very hard during my Training and then realized I have dozed off the whole time before reaching the destination except for a stop to relieve ourselves. ☺
Then reaching MTC,  we all gathered in the ground. Some had already reached. I remember we were asked to fall in and do some simple drills, "Kayjur,  Demten,  jog choed" ☺

By evening,  we got to know our Adjutant Lieutenant Tshewang Rinzin, Over all Incharge Lopen Dholay and Lopen. Gyembo, but couldn't catch up the names of most of Officers and Instructors. Hoped, I would slowly catch up their names. ☺✌
19/01/2020
Not much can I remember about this day but I think, had practiced some drills  and experienced the challenging punishments because it was our first time.
I got to know my platoon mates and since then they became my very close people, "Nyamros". Had it not been with my mates support, I wouldnt have completed.

I remember, morning Joggings and as soon our instructors would say " Gom Thung Nidhap Choed", my face would droop down.  This was what I really didn't like and hence Coz of this I always landed up in "Limping party" and we would burst out laughing when the appointed instructor would say,  "Langra party Jog Choed." πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

20/01/2020
Done with my morning chores after waking up at 4:30am, we gathered in front of the dinning hall wearing our orange field dress at 5:30am. Practiced some drills and leaded to Tensuung Lhakhang to offer our prayers & drank the Holy water. Then headed for breakfast after gathering in front of the Dining Hall.

Dressed in Mufti, we again gathered infront of dining hall at about 8:30am and practiced some drills.  From there, headed towards basketball court and practiced some drills. Then we marched to MPH, which our  seniors shared that it was our 2nd Bedroom because inspite active listener, the powerful room would carry us to our sweetest dream. 😴☺

We had an audience with Lyonpos. He welcomed us, the 37th batch comprising of 126 Desuups and wished for our successful training. When the addressing was over, we gathered in the ground for photo session with Lyonpo and other distinguished guest. After that we headed to the area where some cultural programs of Tensuungs and their wives were presented.

Sumptuous lunch was served, meanwhile the solo and duet songs by the Magsaars continued. Before seeing off our Lyonpo,  we Desuups presented "Cham Chamma Cham" Dance. After an adieu, we were asked to gather in front of dining hall in field dress.

At about 2.30pm, we gathered in front of Ammunition storage. The instructor introduced us about the pistol called Glock-17. From each platoons, 3  sections  were formed and leaded to the outdoor classroom. We practically learnt how to use Glock 17 pistol comprising of, "how to fill in magzine, Hold,  Aim and shoot." We were then  dispersed to our Barracks after gathering in the WT ground.

At about 5.30pm again we gathered in front of dining hall and leaded to enjoy the cultural show of TAPT. After that,  we had an "Interaction program" within the platoons with respective OICs in casual dress.

The Day ended well,  with full of engagements and tired body.  However, I couldn't help myself then jotting down my well spent  day.

                           ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺
I remember planning to continue writing ... However, lack of time and tired body,  I couldn't. However all the Beautiful Memories are Treasured in my Heart along with my Nyamros. Miss you all....

Fight Against CoViD-19

"United we stand, divided we fall, together we are invincible."
We seldom follow this but the current situation demands it and every individuals' support is must. You just need to cooperate by staying home and being Safe and this can Save "You", "Me", the "society" and the "Nation" at large.

But sadly, these days people seems to have forgotten and taking CoViD-19 lightly. Lets not forget the case of Italy, the doctors who sacrificed their life and the various organization who are "staying out" to keep us all safe. I appreciate the people who are really much involved and concerned adhering to keeping safe by staying home,  maintaining physical distancing, using mask,  washing hands,  etc... but there are few who need to understand & cooperate.  This is not just meant for one but for all the citizens ranging from infant to old.

CoViD- 19 is very powerful but we must held high and "Chase together it with our mighty Roar". Well,  I can understand you are mentally distressed by the four corners of your walls.  Remember there are people,  suffering the worst.  At least we have food to eat and many other ways to fight the boredom. Moreover,  due to the Grace of Kenchosum and our almighty leaders they are giving us full support.  I would suggest,  please ask some of your friends abroad, "how are they and how are they being treated"? You wont be happy to hear it and will be disheartened for them.

Our country, despite having low economy calls for all the citizens with much concern by waving off their loans, keeping them quarantined and doing the CoViD 19 test spending huge amount. They are taken goof care and recently with great concern, His majesty has instructed for "Psychological First  Aid" too,  which is for anyone feeling mentally distressed. However,  you can try out to calm yourself by
1. Doing things you enjoy.
2. Keeping your phones switched off,  which
will u keep u away from over exposure
     increasing ur anxiety & stress.
3. Exercises

One recent news about PM, seems to have panicked the people about storage for 6 months.  But what I personally felt was to keep ourselves safe,  not having to go out much for shopping and breaking physical distancing, which is very unsafe. You can come out only if there's any need or any emergency.  Be always positive, because the present scenario demands it and if any negativity over rules then the country will not be responsible but ourselves for being the cause of our sufferings.
Nevertheless,  my dear fellow citizen, "Ask not what country can do for you,  but what You can fo for your country."

"Let Peace prevail and the Victory will be Ours" ✌
